Our family does Chrsitmas on Christmas Eve because of other intaglements. Well, you can only be one place at a time! I spent three days with Mom and Dad and then drove back to Indy Christmas Day.

The Surge: Well, that, coupled with bringing on those Sunni tribal leaders in Anbar Province and the increased troop level has lowered the level of violence. Those who once killed our people now are aiding
us in fighting al-Queda in Iraq (rememer, THERE was NO al-Queda in Iraq until we invaded). This is good.
However, these Sunni militias formed by the US are causing concern with the Shiite dominated government that GW installed in Iraq. We
want Baghdad to infuse these patriots into the Iraqi Army. They are taking out the "foreign" fighters - the suicide bombers.
The Shiite ran Iraqi government is resistant. Maybe we need to be a
little more direct. As your problems are settling down and we can use our people in Afghanistan where were should have been in the first
place. If a religious war occurs - We can deal with the victor....

Afghanistan: this is where we should have went totally in the first
place! And, fuck Pakistan! They used have our anti-al-Queda money on defending against India! We need to focus on Afghanistan. And, move into those tribal areas where Osama Bin Laden - not, Saddam Hussein,
planned 9/11.

GW fucked up the fight against al-Qeada - that is his legacy....

As there is stabilization in Iraq - move the troops to Afghanistan where they should have been in the first damned place! Decimate the
Taliban and then do a joint operation with the Pakistani's to gain control of the tribal areas along the border where Odama Bin Laden is said to be operating.........
