I don't want someone in the White House who will put his religious beliefs before the welfare of We The People or inact laws based on his religion. I am concerned that Huckabee and the religious right have an agenda that doesn't agree with the ideas of midstream America. This religion thing can become a mine-field. I have no problem with "In God We Trust" on the money. I oppose nativity
scenes on public property and the posting of the Ten Commandments
on court house laws. I am pro-choice.
Prayer before a game or a race or even when calling Congress together is ok. But, lets keep it out of the school. Teach biology in the classroom and creationalism in the church.
The Bible as a historical document? I can buy teaching about how the
bible came to be and the history behind it - But, not the message
inside....

Like I wrote - It could be sticky/ Preacher Huckabee woujld say, "This is what i believe" and that would be the end of the discussion. Mike needs to go back to the pulpit and leave government
to those whose platform isn't so focused on religion.

Well, considering that his boss, George Walker Bush signed an executive order this summer authorizing "enhanced interrogatioin techniques" including the use of waterboarding.....
