I am pleased to see the Congress and the President finally agree on something so quickly. This is good. But, it is a band-daid at best.

President Bush spoke on the Fox News Network - aka, "The GW Channel" and stated that Osama Bin-Laden may not be captured during his term in office. Why, I ask? Weeelllll - He sounds like his loser Daddy.
The guy who master-mined the attack on 9/11 was never a priority for
GW? Again, Why?
Franklin Delano Roosevelt - 125 Days after the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor had Lt Col Jimmy Doolittle lead a squadron of B-25 medium bombers off the deck of the USS Hornet and bombed Tokyo!
Bin-Laden was never a priority for Bush. More whys?
More than cosy relationships with the Bin-Laden family? GW had a hard on for Saddam. Pick a reason.
The fact remains - that this bastard is still out there.
If we get hit again before he leaves office - which, I view as damned
likely if not immenent - GW will be scorned and even labeled a traitor...

important peice of legislation......

This Senator is like a dog with a bone when it comes to not letting this new FISA bill include retroactive immunity for the tele-communications forms that cooperated with the government in the illegal wire-tap mess. He has threatened a fillibuster....
