Well, the more you stir shit; the worse it stinks. And, this CIA tape destruction mess is getting more and more ominous for the White House and the CIA as the days go on: . The CIA destroyed the tapes whille a federal judge was seeking information about the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah. The CIA later confirmed that Zubaydah was one of those subjected to "water-boarding". This seems to contradict what CIA Director Michael Hayden stated. The White House defended water-boarding stating that is is legal and not torture and that Bush could order water-boarding again if the situation merited it. Does that mean that GW ordered it originally? After Hayden stated that these people were waterboarded the Democrats in the Senate demanded a criminal investigation. I see this being drug out until GW ends office and a blanket pardon issued by GW for all involved. Thankfully, he cannot pardon himself and all those involved in this sorrid mess can be tried for war crimes. Now, there is the story of a separate detention facility at Guantamano Bay called "Camp Number Seven". And, lawyers representing a Pakistani man, Majid Khan, will speak to the select committee on Intelligence about his treatment at the hands of the CIA.
America screams for the truth. We are tired of those involved cloaking their misdeeds by citing, National Secrets and National Security......

This thing could end up on the floor of the convention. I am afraid of this becoming racial and the divide putting a Republican in the White House - We do not need that.

An estimated 2100 soldiers attempted suicide in 2007. That is FIVE a day! You cannot tell Sarge that multiple deployments and extended tours of duty isn't playing a role. Most of these deaths are with infantry members and done with a firearm. Ok! If any of you guys are reading my blog - Please talk to someone. Go to the Chaplain, the VA, a friend - talk to someone. We lost a 1lT female who killed herself over a man in Oklahoma. I was enraged that nobody seen the signs. Watch your pals - talk to them.

US Federal Court has delivered yet another blow to GW etal on Guantamano Bay stating that when detainees bring a court challenge to their status as "enemy combatants" that Judges must review all the evidence and not just what is provided by the military. The Bush Administration claims that this ruling with place National Security in jeopardy. This isn't over yet and it may end up in the Supreme Court - which GW packed with his cohorts. There is a new movie which will doubtlessly be a pain in Bush's ass out. Visit: www.taxitothedarkside.com and watch the trailer. It is chilling and Americans are doing the torture.
A war crime is a war crime - regardless of the nationality of the person committing the offense or ordering it regardless of how noble the reasons given may be. And, it will be the task of the next President to clean up this mess. And, part of the mess will be dealing with war criminals whomever they may be....
May God grant America the vision to get past this dark period in our histoy.
Please, vote.....
