The GOP walked out of the House as the House voted on contempt citations against two of GW's functionaries for refusing to answer
supeonas to testify in regard to the fired US Attorney investigation.
They want the Democrats to rush the FISA bill through and give the President the retroactive immunity from lawsuits as the President
demands.
This is simple - had GW followed the law this matter would not be an
issue. But, he doesn't have time for obeying laws....

Plus, the lawsuits might expose even more misdeeds by the White House.

This is good. IF GW veto's it - then, they need to pass it over his veto. However, plan on one of his characteristic "signing statements"
meaning that the law of the land doesn't apply to "Daddy's boy President".
I wonder how proud 41 really is of 43? Does it make a difference? They
are both zeros.......

Senator Orin Specter is interviewing the Commissioner of the Nation Football League about the New England Patriots and the tapes of the New York Jets game. I wonder where those guys got the idea that they
could erase those tapes?

If Hillary doesn't win big and I mean, "BIG", in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania - Barak Obama has no reason to "broker" anything because
he will be the Democratic nominee. I think he needs to start looking for a VP choice. I think for party unity that it should be Senator
Clinton - But, that will be up to one person - Barak Obama.

Now he is saying that the only law we need is the Ten Commandments.
This guy talks like he has sense until he heads off down his "Hallaluya Highway" and makes statements like that. I can't vote for a ticket with him as a VP.
And, there is a rumor that Congressman Mike Pence - another right wing, evangelical, zealot might be on McCain's short list for Vice
President. This asshole barely got elected last time.......
