Listen to the man! I am a white, rabid, Reagam Republican who will vote for this young Senator. His message is change and we have had it with George Walker Bush! John McCain talks of another 100 years in Iraq with a war that America should not have started. He also says that he doesn't know much about the economy. Here we are having our kids come home in flaf drapped baskets and this man not only says, "stay the course", but wants us there another One Hundred years. How come none of these GOP bastards mention Osama Bin Laden?
If I was Obama - my cabinet would be:
VP - Hillary Clinton or Evan Bayh Sec of State - Richard Lugar Sec of Defense - Wes Clark Attorney General - John Edwards Ambassador to the UN - Bill Clinton

IF we DO have a bad actor - there are ample ways to legally - and, the key word is legally, to monitor his communications. If he is indeed a threat, arrest him. But try him in a United States Court not some kangaroo court in Cuba. Well, we can't listen in on his phone calls - yes we can. Bush and Mitch McConnell are lying. We have ample federal laws to provide for surveillance of terror suspects. The reason that the unwarranted wire taps occurred is because George Walker Bush thought that he was above the law. Sorry, GW - You aren't. And, there is more shit on the horizon....
I will be glad when your gone you bastard you.
I will be glad when your gone you bastard you.
What a great day for America that will be........

Horold Ickes was on the Democratic National Committee and voted to punish Florida and Michigan Democrats for holding their primaries early by not seating their delegates. Now, that he is with the Clinton campaign he was changed his view and feels that the rule they made disinfranchises the voters. Yes, right after Hillary is down in the vote......

Senator Mitch McConnel, the Senate Majority leader, was on CNN complaining about the alleged reduced intelligence gathering capability since the FISA bill was allowed to expire. The subject is immunity for the tele-communications firms for assisting the government in the warrantless wire taps. The bottom line is that, like it or not, the law was broken and a crime was committed. The GOP wants to stone wall the details and are demanding a blanket immunity without revealing the details of what went on. They cite - National Security....... It is protection for those who coerced the tel-coms into violating the law that they seek.

Should this President and his administration be immune to charges after January 20, 2009? I say, "no". But, America may be better with just changing what needs changed.
January 20th should be a day of great celebration......
