I would favor a national sales tax that would eliminate the presnt federal income tax. This tax would be modest cover everything purchased. However, things already taxed - like gasoline and liquor
would be exempt.

I was born in 1948 - Yeah, Sarge will be Sixty this year! I think that Truman was President. Other than firing MacAuthur - he was a
minimal Chief Executive. Eisenhower was mediocre and had the U-2 incident. Kennedy startered out great - then the Bay of Pigs. Johnson gave us Vietnam. Nixon was a crook. Ford did good during the Mayaguez.
Carter was a disater. Reagan was the best American President in my lifetime. Bush 41 was a coward and a zero. Clin ton did the economy well - but flesh brought him down, Bush 43 is the most power mad man that we have had in tyhe oval office. Look at the signing statements
and scandals over obvious abuse of power.......
