That ought to get votes. However, for the record, Obama does not support Farrakhan nor his views and did not seek his indorsement. That would be like David Duke coming out for Hillary....

CBS's Sixty Minutes ignored the White House and ran a story on the alleged political prosecution of Alabama Governor Don Siegelman which was said to have been orchestrated by GW's boy - Karl Rove. However, just as that segment of the show started the tv screens in Mobile and Huntsville lost the signal. Some sort of a technical malfunction - like erased tapes and the sort........

Well, the torture issue is getting stickier: Defense attorneys for Abu Zubaydah desicribed the detainees mental condition as insanity as a result of be held in US custody for many years. Mister Zubaydah was arrested in Pakistan and moved through CIA "black sites" that the administration denied we had and subjected to aggressive interrogation techniques to instill what the CIA describes as "debility, dependance, and dread. Abu Zubaydah was subjected to freezing rooms alternating with sweltering cells, screaming noise and endless silence, blinding light followed by confinement in underground chambers, hours in contorted positions and the CIA has acknowledged that water-boarding was used. Naturally, none if this henious treatment will be addressed in GW's kangaroo courts. The President actually wants Zubaydah and the other five defendants executed in Cuba. Why not in the death chamber at the US Federal Prison at Terre Haute, Indiana? Yes, these bastards need to pay for what they did but how about doing what we do in a manner consistant with United States Law?

A day after the President warned that critical inteligence was being lost because Congress had not finished work on the controversial bill on wire taps with the sticking point between the House and the Bush administration being retroactive for assisting the government in ilegal wire-taps. The operative word here is "illegal". The law was violated. Now, I feel that the Tel-coms did the patriotic thing by doing what they did. Ok, immunity with a stipulation that they testify against those who asked them to break the law..... However, now the Attorney General and the Director or National Intelligence that the cries of "America is in danger" from George Walker Bush are just more of his fear mongering and that intelligence gathering is going along just fine. You know, I have to ask the question - If the White House had obeyed the law - this issue would be moot. GW thought he was above the law.

Nader announced that he is a candidate for President on this morning's NBC "Meet The Press". Any Democrat with half a brain knows that this asshole and the kooks who supported him gave George Walker Bush the chance he needed to steal the election in Florida and become President - there is a lot of American blood on this basdards hands for the Iraq war, the corruption, the ecomony - the list goes on and on.... I urge the State Democratic Committees to do everything that they can do to keep Ralph Nader off of the slate in November.......
