I would agree to this. There would have to be exemptions from a nat
ional sales tax - food, gasoline, drugs, and things already taxed.
I would see thresholds on high pocket items - like a house or a car.
But, there would be import charges on everything made overseas. And,
taxes would be unholy on companies that take American jobs overseas.
I am talking 50%. One for every two....

If we leave Iraq and al-Qaeda moves in - We will have $200 a barrel oil. Well, last I heard, Iraq isn't pumping out that much oil. And,
besides - oil was trading at $36 a barrel when we invaded and it is at
$103.
Al-Qaeda in Iraq? Obama is correct - al-Qaeda wasn't in Iraq before we
invaded. And, besides that - the Sunni Arabs are turning against the
foreign terrorist. The fear needs to be the Shiites and their ties to our foe Iran. Mahmoud Admadinejad is in Baghdad meeting with Iraqi Primed Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

This is a standard GOP practice to divert our attention away from the
issues that are critical to working class Americans. We are talking about the economy not terrorism. Gas is $3 a gallon and forecasted to go to $4, you should see all the vacant homes with foreclosure notices
on the windows, our dollar is weak overseas - and, prices on food are
sky-rocketing......
GW screamed on and on about America being safer while he hasn't done a damned thing to capture or kill Osama Bin-Laden. America is being invaded right this minute by a horde or illegal immigrants. He hasn't
made any effort to secure our borders....
