KBR a subsiduary of Halliburton, Dick Cheney's old company, and no doubt, the recipitant of a no-bid contract to supply water to US forces in Iraq has been cited for providing our troops with bad
water. Skin abscesses, celluitis, skin infections and diarrhea have
been reported after using water that was discolored and "smelly" for
bathing and laundry purposes.
I did Thailand in 1975. No, you did not drink the water. And, if you did it was with Kool Aid to kill the taste. The water in the shower smelled of chlorine and the clothing itched........
There is absolutely no excuse for this. And, I work for a major water
treatment company - NASA, the USAF, Holiday Inn, Abbott Pharamcuticals, and Under Writers Labrotory are our clients........
