Venezuela is in the process of imposing a tax on wind-fall profits of oil companies stating that the profits generated were beyond reasonable levels of profitability. They propose a 50% tax on profits above $70 a barrel and a 60% tax on profits above $100 a barrel. Heaven fprbid that I would ever agree with Venezuela's asshole dictator, Hugo Chavez. But, it this case he makes sense. Your problem is a Texas oil man in the White House - til January...

Lee Hamilton - highly respected Indiana statesman Jimmy Carter - former President and super=delegate and Jane Fonda. Jane Fonda may be a BIG issue with former POW McCain - But, remember, that war was over thirty yeats ago and Ms Fonda has admitted that she was wrong.

Two top advisors for Senator John McCain represented one of the nation's most agressive predatory lenders. This is while McCain is resisting helping American's stay in their homes. John is busy out there beating the war drum when the war has taken second fiddle to the struggling economy.

McCain is touting his military experience and patriotism. Nobody, including his major rival - Barack Obama questions the former POW's service to our country. But, that being said, he is no more than a George W. Bush clone when it comes to the war in Iraq. "One Hundred more years in Iraq", he said. Let's do the math! We have lost FOUR THOUSAND GI's killed in action in five years - that equates to EIGHT Hundred a year. And, a lot of those in the body bags aren't full time Gi's; No, these are minimally trained guard and reserve units - with some on their third of fourth combat tours. Iraq is a mess and this war was insane from day one. John McCain is no more than a George Walker Bush clone on foreign policy and he has stated that he doesn't know much about the economy. A McCain administration is a third term for George W. Bush.....

Well, like it or not - age is a factor. And, McCain has already demonstrated some confusion when speaking about al-Qaeda and Iran. A Shiite regime is unlikely to support and arm a Sunni insurection. Obviously, he like George Walker Bush, has no knowlwdge of the religious factions in the Middle East. Four thousand Americans have died because GW asked, "Aren't they all just Muslims"? Or, he does know and is confused.
I am sorry, I want 65 as the cut off for being President. And, before you take the oath of office - tell the Chief Justice what you had for breakfast.
