Senator McCain voted against making the birthdate of Marin Luther King a holiday. He now states that he was wrong and came around later. Yes. when you are facing a black opponent for President. Now, to his credit, people can change. Twenty years ago I could not imagine myself voting for a black man or a female. Times have changed and we have changed. I assure you of this - I have absolutely no problem with voting for Senator Obama.
And, I am a retired military, Reagan Republican, who hates George W. Bush.........

McCain again has confused facts regarding Iraq. Ok, is he lying or is he confused? I work with an elder care attorney and as such have been trained to watch out for senile dementia. I ask simple questions like birth dates, addresses, middle names, and what day it is. The Senator is 71. I have seen people at age sixty who could not tell you what they had for breakfast. Confusion as to facts is a early indicator or problems. And, I don't think John McCain would lie....

How can you not support the man for President? He brings something to America that we have not seen in many years. Now, yes, Americans are disillusioned after almost eight years of George W. Bush. This awful nightmare is almost over and this President and his henchmen will be gone. Barack Obama speaks to those of us out here struggling while huge tax cuts are being given to the rich by this Republican regime. His message is of change. And, America is crying for something else...
John McCain promises America nothing more than what will amount to a third term for George Walker Bush. Ed Shultz, a radio talk show spokesman called Barack Obama a "war-monger". I wouldn't go that far myself but McCain's words of "100 more years in Iraq" alarms me as does his stance toward Iran an their nuclear weapons problem - while, like every other asshole up there - ignoring the Israeli nuclear weapons capability.
I don't trust John McCain.

McBush claims that Muqtada al-Sadr declared a cease-fire in Basra. Not so, the arrangement to stop fighting was brokered by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki through Tehran to which al-Sadr agreed. Muqtada al-Sadr and his powerful and sometimes rebellious Medhi militia have stood down for much of the so called "surge" making the effectiveness of that strategy subject to question. And, it is note-worthy that the fighting in Basra was not a totally Iraqi deal as GW would have you believe - the air support was USAF and the US had special forces on the ground in Basra. Plus over one-thousand Iraqi soldiers either deserted or refused to fight against other Iraqi's in Basra. Remember, the whole purpose of the surge was for GW to go out of office a winner and it obviously had nothing to do with giving the Iraqi's time to form a unity government. The legacy of George Walker Bush is over four-thousand dead American servicemember - You can't say "servicemen" anymore because GW is feeding our daughters into this damned meat-grinder in Iraq too while he hasn't done jack shit to kill or capture the man who ordered the attacks on 9/11 - Osama Bin-Laden.
"W" does stand for worse......
