This is a strange one. And, as much as I distrust certain aspects of the Patriot Act, this displays that monitoring internet activity has some benefit in combating homegrown terrorists like this woman.
You folks where the state is on one time zone do not know how lucky you are. Indiana is fucked up bad when it comes to time zones. Mom and Dad live in sw Indiana where I grew up at Evansville - Central Standard Time - that is to put them on the same time as southern Illinois. Same for nw Indiana near Chicago - Gary and South Bend need to be on Chicago time. So I pick up an hour driving down - which is good because I can buiid some fuck off time in on the trip. But, coming back - I lose an hour - so I have to leave an hour earlier to compensate for that. My office is in Chicago and doesn't open til an hour later. That sucks. My corperate HQ is out with AZRON in Phoenix - on MST. Which eats shit even worse. But, do the clock thing anyway...
The 2010 US Census is getting ready to be kicked off and there is all sorts of opposition to it - Bad-Shit Crazy Michelle Bachmann (R-Mn) screamed and yelled about it and now seems to support it. Others are afarid if the Hispanic numbers (who vote Democratic) and counting illegals is an issue. Hey, those little brown things crawling around on the carpet are going to be voters in the next decade. Then, once the dust settles - the state governors get to set the congressional districts - And, they know how certain areas vote. It is called "Gerrymandering" - Indiana is bad for that. But, do add your nose to the count - It not only is a civic duty but it is the law.....
