 The Cross In The Dirt

McCain claims that a guard befriended him and later made the sign of the cross in the dirt while he was a prisoner of war in Hanoi. This
story is very, and I mean, VERY, close to what was written by the Nobel Prixe winning author - Alexandar Solhenentisyn.
What is distrubing is that Mccain made no reference to something as
dramatic as this in his interview with News and World Report in 1973.
McCain first voiced this story when facing a formidible challenge for
the GOP nomination and he was courting the religious voters.
Again, in 1995 - the book, "The Nightengales Song" devoted to Senator
McCain's captivity made no mention of the story of a cross in the dirt.
Why?

What we have here is a liar running for Presient.....

McCain's Speech to VFW National Convention

Reference the Webb enhanced GI Bill:
McCain said," instead I sought a better bill that I am proud to say that the resukt is a law that betters our military, better serves
military families, and better serves military families and better
serves the interests of our country".
What he didn't say was that he cowardly skipped the vote on the Webb
GI Bill for political reasons.
I started serving in the late sixties - Nothing America can do to support our troops and the veterans is enough. Espescially when you
deal with this insane conflict in Iraq. This isn't the Army or The
Marines - it is the Reserve and the National Guard. Well, they are
cheaper - but less qualified. The down-side is the killed, maimed,
and crippled.
Have you ever seen a Marine with scars of a third degree burn from
a IED attack in Iraq? Or, have you ever buried a air-crew?

It changes how you think........

Plus, this stupid bastard has decimated our military. America will be
less safer once this asshole and his henchmen are gone.
McCain voted with him 100% of the time in 2007 and 95% in 2008. Do we want another Bush term.
More importantly, do we want someone who exibits signs of confusion
with his finger on the button?

 COLTS/FALCONS and MORE......

Besides, the Indianapolis Colts were playing the Atlanta Falcons in a pre-season game. Normally, I only watch the first quarter of pre-season games to see how Peyton Manning looks. Well, if you are sports
fan - you know that Manning is down after knee surgery. So, Sorgi, and
a new kid named Gray are getting some exposure. Harrison is back as wide receiver and watching the game became more important to me than
listening to that pathetic old man from Arizona.

Naturally, the closer we get to the election - the GOP will again try
to frighten or confuse the voters with things like guns, abortion, gay
marriage, the pledge, and prayer in the school. The aim is to divert your attention away from the failures of the Bush regime and Senator
McCain's voting record in support of everything George W. Bush did...

 Debate Recap

I closely watched Barack Obama's answers to the pastor's questions and
came away satisfied that is nothing else he had dismissed the ideas that me is a Muslim. A Muslim would not speak of Jesus - nor, would a
Jew.
McCain was instructed not to "stump" and just answer questions. However, he started out with, Drill, drill, drill", and then used his
tiresome, "My friends", indicating he was not addressing the pastor but talking to the audience.
The man is senile. He doesn't need to go to the White House; he needs
to resign from the Senate and enjoy the remaning time he has before
Cindy has to have him put away in a nursing home.
